Browsing without an account
You can browse deals without creating an account. Your age verification and map preferences are stored in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
Accounts
If you create an account, we store your email address and display name to provide our services. Passwords are handled securely by our authentication provider (Supabase) using industry-standard encryption — we never see or store your password directly. Your account lets you save favorite restaurants, like deals, and submit support tickets.
Restaurant owners
If you claim a restaurant, we store your ownership record linking your account to the restaurant listing. If you subscribe to a Featured plan, payment processing is handled securely by Stripe — we never see or store your credit card details. Stripe may store payment information according to their own privacy policy.
Site analytics
We use a self-hosted, privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand how visitors use the site — such as page views, device types, and referral sources. This tool does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track individual users across sessions. All analytics data is stored exclusively on our own servers and is never shared with third parties.
Listing analytics
We also track anonymous, aggregate counters to help restaurant owners understand their listing performance — for example, how many times a listing pin was viewed on the map. These counters are not tied to individual users.
What our servers see
The area of the map you're viewing (to load nearby deals) and standard web request data (IP address, browser type) handled by our CDN provider Cloudflare under their privacy policy. If you're signed in, your requests include an authentication token so we can load your favorites and preferences.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, share, or monetize any user data
- We don't use third-party advertising pixels or cookies
- We don't track individual browsing behavior — analytics are anonymous and aggregate only
- We don't store your location — geolocation is processed entirely in your browser
- We don't send marketing emails unless you opt in
Restaurant data
All restaurant information (names, addresses, specials, photos) comes from publicly available sources including restaurant websites and public business listings. Restaurant owners can claim their listing to update or manage their information.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us through a support ticket. We will remove your profile, favorites, likes, claimed restaurants, and any other personal data within 30 days of your request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as we add new features. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
